I found my 1931 Deluxe Tudor Sedan when I was in college. It was resting under a tree in the San Fernando Valley north of LA. As a starving college student, I had to sell my other "old car", a 1956 Chevy, to afford the $100 purchase price. I was in the right place at the right time, as the owner had been refusing to sell the old car parked on blocks under a tree for the last 17 years. He only considered selling it to me because his doctor had told him he had to move out of LA for health reasons.

Between college, marriage, kids, divorce, and moves, it took me 25 years to restore the car to its current condition, just barely in time for the wedding of my daughter Shaynee in 1993. We've used the car ever since and it's held up nicely. I should really write all this down somewhere. One day soon. The two photos above are the before, in 1968 and the after in 1993.

Betsy's History Rick found our 1931 Model A Ford in Canoga Park California in 1968 and dragged it around for 25 years before it was finally restored.
Betsy Photos Various photos taken over the years. She's truly a "rags to riches" gal.
